Private Kindergarten Oak Brook School offers an accelerated private kindergarten program.  Many graduating students have been placed in Gifted and Talented programs and magnet schools since its conception.  We use McGraw Hill curriculum integrated with other publishers. Class starts at 8:00am and is over at 3:00pm. However, your child is welcome at Oak Brook anytime during the hours of 6:30am to 6:30pm.   Alicia Evers has been with Oak Brook since 2001.  Mrs. Evers has a high standard of achievement and expects excellence from her students mixed with fun, love and compassion.  Her small student to teacher ratio allows her the freedom to teach outside the box and give one on one attention.  Her philosophy:  To help a child succeed at all costs and for them to develop a “can do” attitude.  This philosophy extends into our after school program where she oversees the homework room for the first through fifth grade.   Mrs. Evers’ passion is reading.  Twice a month, Oak Brook Kindergarten goes to the Plano Library.  Her class also enjoys time spent in our computer lab, gym, theater, and a huge outside play area.  We have a Music and Spanish teacher that come into their classroom each week as well.   Mrs. Evers comes to Oak Brook with over twenty years of teaching experience.  She has been married for thirty-two years, has three grown children and three grandchildren.
