Hours of Operation
Oak Brook School is open 6:30a.m. - 6:30p.m. Monday - Friday, year round.
A late fee of $5.00 per child will be due immediately for late pickup between 6:30-6:40pm.  In addition, a $1.00 per minute (per child) will be assessed after that time.
Oak Brook School will be closed for the following holidays:
            -New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day
            -Memorial Day
            -Fourth of July
            -Labor Day
            -Thanksgiving and Friday after
            -Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
Tuition is calculated on a yearly basis, therefore it is not reduced for these holidays.
In case of bad weather, Oak Brook will follow the Plano I.S.D. closing decision and tuition will not be reduced.

Admission policies
We enroll two times per year– Summer and Fall semesters.  Parents currently enrolled at Oak Brook School will have first priority.  Any remaining spaces will then be offered to the general public.  As spaces become available throughout the year, siblings of children currently enrolled at Oak Brook will receive first priority.
An informational meeting with the parent must be conducted at the center.  A plan for the child’s admission to the school will be developed and all applications forms will be reviewed.  All forms must be returned before a child may attend the school.

Security
Each child enrolled at Oak Brook School has a pin number assigned to them.  Parents must use this pin number to clock children in and out each day.  In addition, this pin number can be used to unlock the entry door to the classroom portion of the building.  Children may leave the school with authorized persons only.  Please inform the center if someone other than mom or dad will be picking up your child.  The person picking up the child will be required to show identification upon arrival at the school. 
 
Nutrition
Breakfast is offered for an additional cost of  $ .75 per day.  Breakfast is served from 6:30-8:00a.m.  Please have your child at the school no later than 7:45 a.m. if they are to eat breakfast.  Lunch and snacks are served each day at the school.  Meals are designed to be “child friendly” and to follow the nutritional guidelines published by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services.

Classes Offered
We offer Preschool and Kindergarten as well as afterschool care for elementary children.  Our Preschool begins at age two and we except children to the age of twelve.

After School Care

Schell Elementary-Plano I.S.D
Hunt Elementary-Plano I.S.D
 Our bus drivers will not leave the school until all children are accounted for.  Please be sure to call us before 2:00 on school days if we are not to pick up your child.  The public schools do not communicate absences to us. 
 The after school program at Oak Brook School strives to provide a wide variety of activities.  The students will rotate between several organized activity centers seperated by grade level. A time for homework and study will be provided, along with a snack.

Fees
All tuitions are due and payable in full on Monday. Tuitions not paid by Tuesday close of business will result in a $10 late fee.   Any unpaid balance on Friday evening will incur a 10% late fee.  Failure to keep fees current may result in your child being dropped from our program.  Tuition is still due when your child is absent.  

There is $25.00 fee for all returned checks.  After two returned checks, cash or money orders will be required for payment of tuition.
