Tracie Riebschlager – Center Director
Welcome to Oak Brook, I am so excited to have you as a part of our family! My name is Tracie Riebschlager and I am the director. I was raised in a military family and moved around a lot as a child before we settled in San Antonio in my 3rd grade year. Since then, I have been proud to call Texas my home. I have a fabulous husband and have been married for 21 years this November. You may see him around as he will drop off food and drinks for me while out on patrol (that’s right don’t worry when you see that Murphy police car out front, it’s probably just my husband stopping by)! We have three amazing kids, all of whom have attended and loved Oak Brook. My two oldest have aged out of Oak Brook but my youngest is in our KJS class this year. I have been working in childcare since 2006 and have been with Oak Brook since 2010. I started here as a teacher and worked in several classrooms before becoming the Office Manager in 2013. I received my directors’ certificate in 2016 and became the assistant director and finally became director in December of 2019. Oak Brook is my home and could not ask for a better work family!!
Marcus Parker – Assistant Director
Hello Oak Brook Families! My name is Marcus and I am the assistant director. I was born and raised in Plano! I attended University of North Texas and received my Bachelors of Applied Arts and Sciences degree with a focus in Business management and Psychology. I began my career in childcare in 2008 when I started working for the Plano ISD PASAR program, I quickly moved up in management with them and found my true passion working with children and being able to lead a team.
I started working at Oak Brook during the Summer in 2009 and loved the family atmosphere that OBS has! I have always returned to Oak Brook every summer since 2009! In 2016 I made the hard decision to step away from childcare and take a leap of faith in opening my own business. I owned and operated three smoothie businesses for four years. I decided it was time to return to my true passion which is childcare.
I received my Directors Credentials for the State of Texas in June 2020. As the Assistant Director here at Oak Brook School, I am confident that my love for childcare and my passion for leading a team will set me up for success in this new role. I am excited for a great school year and so glad to be a part of the OBS family full time!
Christine Clancy – Office Manager
Hello y’all! My name is Christine Clancy and I am wicked excited to be apart of this loving Oak Brook Family!
I moved to Texas in 2019 from Nashville, Tennessee. Although Texas is now my home, I am originally from Springfield, Vermont (the home of “The Simpsons”!).
I graduated from Castleton University in 2017 with my bachelor’s degree in both elementary education and special education. I have worked with children from the ages of infant all the way through the sixth grade. I have been fortunate enough to have these opportunities working with children in both the academic school setting and the summer camp setting. As an educator I believe that it truly takes a village to raise a child. In each setting I work in, I do my best to have children understand that failure is just a stepping stone to greatness. In my world, learning happens long after you leave the classroom so I try to make every opportunity a learning opportunity.
Although I am now in an administrative position, I still feel the same way I did when I was in the classroom. I am excited to interact daily with every student and family member that walks into the welcoming doors of Oak Brook. With this position I am also looking forward to helping and mentoring my co-workers and to help make this school the best that it can be!
In my free time, I love hanging out with my family and my friends. I currently live with my fiancé, my two roommates who are like my family and two dogs. I love to travel, my favorite destination is back home to New England, especially in the fall! I can often be seen at Texas Rangers baseball games (the venue for my 2022 wedding), out exploring something new or just relaxing around my house.
Ms. Casandra – Infants Teacher
Hello Oak Brook Families!
I’m Ms.Casandra and I am so excited to meet you and you little one(s)!
I was born in California but raised here in Texas. I married my high school sweetheart and we have a beautiful, dramatic, silly little girl together. We also have 2 catahoula pitbulls named Billy and Daisy.
I have been with Oak Brook since 2018. I have taught from infants to pre-k in my time being here and I’ve loved teaching in every one of those classrooms. I always knew I wanted to pursue a career that involved kids. At first, I was studying to be a pediatric nurse and although my mentors said I was great at it, I quickly realized that medicine didn’t keep my interest. I then turned to teaching. I hope to continue my journey in teaching and get my degree in Early Childhood Education.
I look forward to all the snuggles from your little ones that come into my classroom and to seeing you all around the school.
